Day-1TOKYO - SENDAI - ZAO

Tohoku Shinkansen

In the morning, meet our English-speaking guide at the designated meeting point.
Depart with the guide via train (bullet train/express train) to reach the destination.

Okama Crater Lake in Zao

Upon arrival in Sendai, embark on a scenic drive to Zao, stopping at Okama, an active volcano with a beautiful crater (accessibility depends on weather).

Hot Springs Image

Continue the drive to Zao mountain resort, where you'll indulge in a stay at a Japanese Ryokan, immersing yourself in the serene ambiance and rejuvenating hot springs.

Day-2ZAO - SAKATA

Zao Ropeway

Begin the day with a ride on the Zao Ropeway, enjoying an easy hike with spectacular views from the mountaintop.
Afterwards, just relax in the chartered coach for a drive to Sakata city (approximately 2.5 hours).

Day-3SAKATA - GINZAN ONSEN

Sakata city

Explore the coastal town of Sakata facing the Sea of Japan, making a stop at a historical samurai-style house.

Maiko Experience

Experience a special Maiko (apprentice geisha) encounter and indulge in lunch at Maiko Chaya.

Mogami River

Drive to Ginzan Onsen along the Mogami River and enjoy leisure time after checking in at the hotel.

Day-4GINZAN ONSEN - YAMAGATA CITY

Ginzan Onsen

Experience the tranquility of the early morning in Ginzan Onsen, a unique privilege for staying guests. After this special time, embark on a journey to Yamadera.

Yamadera

Explore the mountain with its peculiar rocks and stones, taking a one-hour journey with about 1000 steps to Okunoin, where the Great Buddha Hall is located.
Transfer to Yamagata city for a leisurely afternoon.

Day-5YAMAGATA CITY - YONEZAWA - TOKYO

Takahata Winery

After checking out the hotel, head to the acclaimed Takahata Winery for a Japanese wine tasting experience.

Uesugi Shrine

Continue the journey to Yonezawa city, the last stop, and visit Uesugi Shrine, known for bringing good luck, academic success, and prosperity.

After the conclusion of the tour, we will board the train back to the dismissal point, marking the end of the itinerary.
